Commenbry:
The Legislature recently changed the law regulating the sale of beer at golf courses to provide for sale On
the mums in a "mobile semce bar." My ordinance prohibits Mesale of beer at the golf course other
than on the Immediate premises of the concession.
This Ordinance amendment will permit sales of beer on the golf course during certain times and under
terms and conditions determined by the Director of Parks and Recreation and approved by the
Government Operations Committee.
Department Head
Subsequent to the Committee meeting, Councilor Cashwell has suggested that the sale of beer on the
mum also be extended to holidays (In addition to mumaments and weekends). As a result, this
amendment will be first read and referad back m the Committee where such an amendment can be
