Don Kelly proposes the development of twenty-two residential units in eleven separate buildings at the
comer of Grandview Avenue and Hillside Street Ten of these units would be in five buildings located on
property on Grandview Avenue presently owned by lire City. The remaining twelve residential units in
six separate buildings would be on an adjacent parcel owned by Mr. Kelly on the corner of Grandview
Arcane and Broadway.
Council Order 0547 Stented Mr. Kelly tentative developer status on December 27. It expired March l4a
and was extended at Nat time m May 23`° by Council Other 05-101. Mr. Kelly's plans are progressing
and he bas requested the City grant him a further 60 -day extension of his tentative development status.
This Order would extend the tentative developer status to August 22, 2005 the date of the second Council
nomfing in Amped. During Us period, Mr. Kelly would have an opportunity to submit for the City
Council's consideration a more defined development proposal that would be incorporated into a
development option agreement for the Council's consideration. Unfit Nen the City would deal
exclusively with Mc Kelly for development of the site.

(TITLE.) Order, Extending the TentaUve Development Status of Don Kelly- 969 Grandview
Avenue Development Site
WHEREAS, Don Kelly has proposed to develop ten (10) residential units in five (5) separate
buildings on 0a City owned development sfte located at 969 Gra etwew Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, by Council Order 05-47 on December 27, 2004, the City granted "tentative
developer" status to Don Kelly until March 14, 2005 and by CWral Order 05101
extended Yentative developer" status to May 23, 2005; and
WHEREAS, Don Kelly has requested an additional 60 days of time N further refine his formal
development proposal for consideration by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CRY COUNCR OF THE CRY OF BANGOR
THAT, the designation of Don Kelly as the tentative developer of the City owned development
site located at 469 Grandview Avenue is hereby extended until August 22, 2001; tlat City staff
and Mr. Kelly have until Dan to negotiate a development option agreement for Ne City
Council's consideration for Ne development of up to ten (10) residential units In five (5)
separate buildings on the site; that prior to August 5, 2005 Mr. Kelly shall Prepare and submit
In writing to the City Engineer a specific proposal for construction of the ten (10) residential
units in five (5) separate buildings on the site; and that during the period of designation the
City agrees fo deal exdusively with Don Kelly for the purpose for which tentative developer
staWs was granted. The proposal submitted for the Citys consideration shall be su fident in
detail to outline Ne general scope of development and convey sufficient information for the City
to determine the level of investment proposed and character of the wo* to be performed.
Preliminary plans submited for the Cityls consideration as part of the developer option
agreement are to include a conceptual site p4an stowing the proposed layout of fire buildings
and other she improvements; building dimensions and number of stories; and materials to be
used for exterior treatment
