Station Circulation Driveway

The new Police Station will require construction of an interior circulation driveway In front of Me existing
building that will be renovated as part of the project. Because of the proxlmlty of the existing building W Me
Main Street Right -of -Way, Me new circulation drive will enovach into Me Main Street Right -of -Way.
In order W receive site plan approval, Me applicent (Gly in this case) must have title, right, or interest In all
property affected by a pmW. An easement for Me circulation drive in the Main Street Rightrof-Way, will
meet this requirement In conjunction with construction of Me driveway, Me sidewalk will be relocated to
maintain a continuous pedestrian route on Main Street The circulation drive will not Interfere with public
uses in the Main Street right-of-way.
The attached Order will establish Me necessary easement A location sketch is attached.

Orculation Driveway
WHEREAS, the new Bangor Police Station will be constructed an a she bounded by Pord0rG of Main
Street, Cedar Street, and Summer St; and
WHEREAS, site constraints necessitate locating part of an Interior circulation driveway In a portion of
the Main Sanest Right -of -Way; and
WHEREAS, site plan approval for the project requires that the applicant have right bids, and Interest
in all areas affected by the project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed interior circulation driveway will not adversely impact or interfere with
public uses of the Main Sheet Right -of -Way;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED that an easement be established in the Main Street Rlghtof-
Way for the purpose of constructing, using, and maintaining a circulation driveway for the mw
Bangor Police Statim, said easement being bounded as follows:
"BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly sideline of Main Street located 420°90'38 of
and forty-four and zem hundredths (49.00) feet from the intersection of said southeasterly
line of Main Street w8h the mrtheastedy line of Cedar Street as shown on a Boundary and
Topographic Survey of he Bangor Pdice Deparrmit, prepared for the City of Bangor by
Shyka, Sheppard & Garter, land Surveyors, dead Decernher 19, 2003, last revised April 11,
MIS, project number 03-133;
THENCE N20653'54V, twenty and four hundredths (20.09) feet to a point;
THENCE NXW38T, one hundred (evenly and ninety-five hundredths (120.95) feet to a
