The City is in the process of developing the plans and specifications far a new Police Headquarters
BuildiN to be looted on Main Sheet In order far this project to proceed, we must acquire the property
at 245 Main Street, the anent location of Bangor Radiator, owned by Michael and Tammy Com ler.
This Order will authorize the purchase of the property including relocation expenses for the business. It
also provides for a short-term lease permitting the business to continue to operate while the Conniers
build a new building for their business.
The total acquiation and relocation costs Wilt be $200,000, in accordance with the guidelines provided by
the City Council.

WHEREAS, the City of Bangor is currently in the process of developing plans and
specifications for anew Police Headquarters Building to be located 9 240 Main Skeet and'
WHEREAS, acquisition of the property located at 258 Main Street and owned by Michael
and Tammy Coder is necessary in orderto proceed with construction of this project; and.
WHEREAS, aaluisition of 258 Main Street will necessitate the relocation of the Bangor
Rsdintor business now operating at 258 Main Street
NOW,THEREFORE,beit
ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized, on behalf ofthe City of Bangor,
to execute a contract for the purchase of real estate located at 258 Main Street owned by Michael -
andTenuayCormier. The pruchase price and payment for relocation of the business owned by
Michael and Tammy Cormier shall he $200,000, real estate nixes shall be pro rated, and the
closing shall be by June 15, 2005. The contract shall be in a final form approved by the City
Solicitor or Assistmn City Solicitor.
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a lease with Michael and Tammy Contact, to permit the
continued operation of Bangor Radiator at 258 Main Strcet while a new location for the business
is being constructed. The lease shall include provisions for no rent; Imam to pay utilities; tenant
to maintain insurance; tern of the lease to expire September 15, 2005; and such other terms and
conditions as is usual and customary in losses of the City of Bangor aM in a final form approved
by the City Solicitor or Assitant City Solicitor.

WHEREAS, acquisition of the property located at 245 Main Street and awned by Michael and
Tammy Cormier is necessary in order M proceed with construction of this project;
and
WHEREAS, acquisidan of 245 Main Street will necessitate the relocation of the Bangor Radiator
business now operating at 245 Main Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CIN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a
contract for the purchase of real estate located at 245 Main Street owned by Michael and
Tammy Cormier. The purchase price and payment for relocation of the business owned by of
Michael and Tammy Cormier shall be $200,000, real estate taxes shall be prorated, and the
dosing shall be by June 1, 2005. The contract shall be in a final form approved by the City
Solicitor or Assistant City Soldmar.
AND BE tf FURTHER ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized, on behalf of the
City or Bangor, to execute a lease with Michael and Tammy Cormier W permit the continued
operation of Bangor Radlator at 245 Main Street while a new location for the business is being
constructed. The lease shall include provisions far no rent; tenant to pay utilities; tenant to
malotain insurance; conn of me lease to expire September 15, 2005; and such other terms and
conditions as is usual and customary in leases of the City of Bangor and in a final form
approved by the City Solicitor or Assitant City Solicitor.
