Extension of the Fuel Hydrant System at Bangor International Nrport

Bangor International and lz aonMobll have been In dlswssion for some time regarding the feasibility of
extending the Airports fuel hydrant system to service the ramp area located north of the terminal
building. This ramp is frequently used by transiting aircraft, partculady, military. Availability of the
hydrant system In this area will allow BSR to service these aircraft more often and more efficiently and
result in increased fuel sales. Toward this end, Etc onMobil has agreed to provide the City with $153,000
for this project. in return, the Ory will provide Me company with a five year lease extension on certain
facilities at the almort.
The Uundl has previously discussed and approved this arrangement This resolve will accept and
appropriate the funds from ExmnMobil.

CITY OF BANGOR
(TITLE.) Resolve, Accepting and Appropriating $453,000 from the ExxonMobil Corporation for
Extension of the Fuel Hydrant System at Bangor International Airport
WHEREAS, E*mnMobll has agreed to provide Bangor International Airport with $453,000 to be
applied to the extension of the Airport's fuel hydrant system; and
WHEREAS, this extension will allow the Airport to increase Is fuel sales to transiting aircraft;
and
WHEREAS, in return for this payment, FxxonMobil will receive a Ove -year extension of its lease
on certain fueling facilities at Bangor International, an extension previously
approved by the City Council
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BANGOR THAT a payment of $453,000 from ExxonMobile is hereby accepted and appropriated
for the purpose of extending the fuel hydrant system at Bangor International Airport. In return,
ExxonMobil has received a five-year extension of their lease on certain fueling facilities at
Bangor International, as previously approved by the Bangor City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to establish
Ne necessary capital accounts for this purpose.
