A recent tyle search conducted on 1732 OM1b Street Les disclosed the ewstence of 19 hens filed against the
property in the lWs and 19509. The City took possession of the pem 1 in the late I980s end sold it in the
early 1990s by a public sale, so these liens are no longer valid.
The Current property owners are current in the payment of their taxes and request that the City
issue a quitclaim deed to discharge these old Gena to facilitate the sale of the property. Snc
turning was an issue and Council approval is necessary to issue a quitclahre deed, staff exem[ed
the quitclaim deed upon approval by the atinance Committee at its January 3, 2005, meeting,
which Committee recommends ratification thereof.

That the action of the Finance Director (Deborah A. Cyr) in executing a quitclaim dead to 1732
Ohio Street to the John C. Chase Heirs & The McLeod Family Trust to discharge the liens listed
below is hereby ratified and approved:
