Commentary:
In order to accommodate a dosing on the sale of property at 50 Westland Street formerly owned by
Annie Brountas, a Quitclaim Deed was prepared and executed releasing the City's interest in the property
by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien. There is no record that a discharge of the 1970 tax lien was
prepared and recorded at the time payment was received.

(TITLE.) RESOLVE, Ratifying Execution and Delivery of Municipal Quitclaim Deed -- Real Estate
Located at 40 Westland Street
By the City Council of the City of Bangor:
RESOLVED,
THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor in executing and
delivering a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing the City's interest m real estate located
at 40 Westland Street by virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 2184, Page 512 to Charles G. Bmuntas, Jr., Personal
Representative of the Estate of Annie N. Brountas, is hereby ratified and affirmed.
