Order, Designating Realty Resources Chartered Tentative Developer of Essex Street Development Site By the Gly Council ofthe Oty ofEangOn ORDERED, THAT WHEREAS, the City of Bangor issued a request for proposals for redevelopment of the former Naval Reserve Center site on Essen Street; and WHEREAS, the only proposal received was from Realty Resources Chartered of Rockport, Maine which has proposed the development of 32 units of affordable housing on the site; and WHEREAS, the proposal has been reviewed by the Business and Economic Development Committee of the Cry Counal; and WHEREAS, the Business and Economic Development Committee has recommended the Ory Council grant tentative developer stabus to Realty Resources Chartered for a period of 90 days during which time City staff and Realty Resources would negotiate an agreement for consideration by the City Council setting forth the terms and conditions under which the development of the site would occur, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CIN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT, Realty Resources Chartered is hereby granted exclusive status as tentative developer of the former Naval Reserve Carter site on Essex Street until May 24, 2004 to allow time for City staff and Realty Resources Chartered to negotiate a development agreement for consideration by the City Council on or before that data setting forth the terms and conditions under which development of the site would occur.
