Because my employment with the Bangor School Department as a coacher at Bangor
High School presents a potential conflict of interest between my paid position and my
position ss an appointed member of the Bangor Board of Ethics under the city's Code of
Ethics, 3}14,1 hereby tender my rin ileation as a member of flue Bangor Board ofEth-
ics.
When I had perused the packet scsrt by the Legal Department before our organizational
meeting, I interpreted the Code of Ethics as establishing a potential conflict of interest
based on my employment, and, following my notably, the Legal Depvnment confirmed
my interpretation. I believe thm the Board ofEddcs in particular should be fine of my
such pots0al cordlims,
