HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-01-12 04-46 ORDINANCERem No. 04-46 Date: January 12,04 Item/Subject: Ordinance, Amending the Map of the Downtown Parking Management District - Parking Limited to Non -Commercially Registered Vehicles Only — May St. Responsible Department: Community and Economic Development During the summer of 2903, it became obvious that parking of U -Haul vehicles on the east side of May St. created a difficulty for other vehicles using May St. Delivery trucks, in particular, cannot complete a Wm at the intersection of Pleasant St. and May St. when large trucks are parked on May S[ between Summer and Front Streets. The Bangor P.D. has evaluated the traffic and parking situation on May St, and recommends that parking on east side of May Stmat, between Summer and Front Streets, be limited to Paddng for non -comment ally registered vehicles only.
