Deed -- Real Estate Located at 74 Seventh Street

The City has numerous real estate tax and sewer liens on property located at 74 Seventh Street and
currently owned by Steven and Victoria Powers, several of which have matured.
City staff was retired on Fdday, Occober 31, 2003 of a pending sale of the property to be held on
November 0. Counsel for the owners has indicated that all outstanding charges due the City will be
paid at the time of closing, and requested a quitclaim deed to be held in escrow until the dosing.
In order W accommodate the sale of Me property a deed was issued. Staff in Treasury and Wastewater
Treatrnent will prepare and record discharge documents for the liens which have not matured. This
Resolve will ratify the actions of staff.

(TITLE.) RESOLVE, Ratifying Execution and Delivery of Municipal Quitclaim Deed -- Real
Estate Located at 74 Seventh Street
By the City Council of the City of Bangor:
RESOLVED,
THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor In executing and
delivering a Municipal Quitalaim Deed releasing the Qty's interest in real estate located
at 74 Seventh Street by virtue of several undischarged real estate tax and sewer liens recorded
in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds is hereby ratified and affirmed.
