Responsible Department: Airport Commendary: The expansion of the Airports fuel hydrant system will allow the Airport to fuel transient military aircraft and generate new revenue. The cost of the project is approximately $430,000. ExaonMobil Aviation has agreed to pay the cast of the hydrant system in exchange for a five-year lease extension with a five-year option to renew. The lease amendment will be in a form approved by the City Solicitor. Order, Authorizing an Extension of the Agreement between Bangor International Airport and ExxonMobil Aviation. WHEREAS, The Bangor International Airport owns and operates the fuel hydrant system at the Airport; and WHEREAS, EromnMobil Aviation is the Airport's fuel supplier and partner; and WHEREAS, both parties desire to expand the existing fuel hydrant system as It will generate additional revenue; and WHEREAS, the cost of this project will be approximately $430,000; and WHEREAS, ExxonMobil Aviation is willing to expend $430,000 for the project in exchange for a five year lease extension with a five year option to renew; and WHEREAS, a lease extension is In the best Interest of the Airport; NOW, THEREFORE, BE rr ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CRY OF BANGOR THAT The Airport is hereby authorized to enter into an amendment to the existing agreement with Exxonivobil that will provide for a five-year (rase extension, with a five-year renewal option, in exchange for an investment of approximately $430,000 by ExxonMobil's far the purpose of expanding the Airport's fuel hydrant system, said extension to be In a form approved by the City Solicitor.
