These are ekdting times for the City of Bangor. Bangor has made great strikes to both
become and be recognizetl as one of America's most imNng places to live, work, and

The Bangor Police Department has a rich history. A new chapter in that history and the

headquarters will be dedicated.
This fall, the Bangor Will News will produce a keepsake tabloid featuring stories on the

Street location, and, of course, our new downtown location at Main and Cedar Streets.
This supplement will appear In mid-November in all editions of the paper, and additional
coples will be available to the public at no charge. It will also be placed on the popular
Bangor Daily News website to insure that it will be mailable to former residents and
others from may with an Interest in Bangor.
The Bangor Police Department and the City of Bangor hope you will consider supporting
this supplement. An advertising cost sheet stowng size commitments and deadlines is
attached for your consideration. Jack Giffortl, a dozen of Bangor and an Advertising
Representative of the News, is producing the supplement and will contact you in the
near future.
Please know that you are under no obligation W support this effort. In accordancewith
our desires, Mr. Gifford will not be sharing any Information With the City or the Police
Department regarding who has or has not been contacted concerning this supplement.
Thank you for your attention. We know that the City of Bangor and our Police
