For the purposes of this chapter, the City of Bangor is hereby divided into 2% districts to
be designated as Follows:
Urban Residence 1 District (URD -1).
Urban Residence 2 Dish (URD -2).
Murdfamily and Service District (M & SD).
Neighborhood Service District (NSD).
Urban Service District (USD).
Downtown Development District (DDD).
Waterfront Development District (WDD).
Bass Park District.
Airport Development District (ADD).
Urban Industry District (UID).
Government and Institutional Service District (G & ISD).

That Chapter 165, Land Development Code, § 165-56 Zoning District Boundaries be
amended as folkners.
§ 165-66. Zoning district boundaries.
Where the side or rear lot line of a IM in a Neighborhood Service District (NSD), Urban Service
District (USD), Airport Development District (ADD), Urban Industry District (UID), Government
and Institutional Service District, (G & ISD), Shopping and Personal Service District (S & PS),
General Commercial and Service District (GC & S) Technology & Service Distinct (T&S) or an
Industry and Service District (I & S) abuts any residential district, a Resource Protection
District (RP) Stream Protection (SP 7 or a Park and Open Space District (P & 0), a transitional
yard will be established In accordance with the district development standards, but in any case
such yard will be Increased by 10 feet and at least a Buffer Yard B (as corned in Article XIX,
§ 165-135D) will be established.
That Chapter 165, Land Development Cade, § 165-73 Zoning Dishict Boundaries be
amended as follows.
§ 165-73. Parking am location and screening
The location of off-street parking shall comply with the following requirements:

airport traffic control and direct aviation support uses), UID, G & LSD, S & PS, GC

Council Ordinance 06-223
Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly scheduled
meeting on June 20, 2006 held a Public Hearing on the above Land
Development Code Amendment.
The Planning Staff gave a brief overview of the various sections of Me
Land Development Code that need to be amended when a new district Is added.
The Board voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council that It
adopt the proposed amendment that would provide the interrelated provisions
pertaining to Technology and Service District.
