Gould, Planning Officer SUBJECT: Amending Zoning Ordinance 200 Sylvan Road Council Ordinance 06-110 Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 16, 2006, held a Public Hearing on the above zone change request. Jeff Allen, PE, of James W. Sewall Company, the representative of Sylvan Properties, LLC indicated that they were seeking to rezone a 13 -acre portion of a 36 - acre parcel on Sylvan Road to General Commercial and Service District. Mr. Allen noted that this would make this property entirely General Commercial and Service District and consistent with the other commercial properdes on Sylvan Road. Marlene Susi of 134 Saratoga Avenue indicated that she and her family resided on an adjacent residential property and while the rezoning was not immediately abutting them, the larger parcel does. She did want the Planning Board to be aware of the location of this commercial property relative to the houses on Saratoga Avenue. Atter considendlon of the existing uses In the area and the proposed land use in the Comprehensive Plan, the Board voted unanimously to recommend the proposed zone change to the City Council as indicated in Council Ordinance 06-110.
