City pmpertytuconstmctafaclityfor Affiliated Healthcare Systems. EMHSwishestosub-letthepropertyto
AffiIlated HealMrare Management for healthcare related or other professional of0ce uses, including the
operation of an ambulance service and dispatch.
This Omer authorizes the execution of the Acknowledgement and Consent. The B&ED Committee
recommends approval.

CITY OF BANGOR
(TITLE.) ORDER, Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Acknowledgement
and Consent of Landlord W Sublease and Subordination of Tenant's Rights
under tease to Sub -Tenant
WHEREAS, effective June 30, 2005 the City of Bangor and Eastern Maine Healthcare
Systems (EMHS) entered into a lease of City property for the purpose of
constructing a facility for Affiliated Healthcare Systems; and
WHEREAS, said facility has been constructed; and
WHEREAS, EMHS wishes to sub -let the property to Affiliated Healthcare Management
for healthcare related or other professional office uses, including the
operation of an ambulance service and dispatch; and
WHEREAS, the lease acknowledges that EMHS may sublet the property to any affillate
of EMHS,
NOW, therefore, by the City Council of the City of Bangor, be it
ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of the City of Bangor
to execute an Acknowledgement and Consent of Landlord in substantially the same
form as is on file with the City Solicitor.
