Commentary: Labor negotiations with Ramp Supervisors, Ramp Attendants and Shift leads MBIA
have resulted in a Tentative Agreement between the City and to Union negotiating committee.
There are approximately 25 represented positions involved. Thisagreementwill followthe3une 30,
2005eayiratlonofthemostrecentcont2R. Major points of significance include: a three year term;
wage adjustments of 2% War one, 2% year two and 3% year three; a minor adjustment to the
vacation schedule; inclusion of earned time off for part-time employee positions; revisions t the
group health insurance plan including a new cost sharing formula and other changes intended to
encourage employees to move away from the anent older styte plans which are offered; a small
increase in the boot allowance; and various other housekeeping changes.
The Union recently voted to retry the proposed Tentative Agreement. This Agreement has been
reached within the bargaining guidelines previously established by the City Council, and It Is now
ready for your consideration. It is Presented wit the recommendation of the Management
Negotiating Committee (Harry Courtois, Rebecca Hupp, Tony Caruso and Kevin Kpler). A copy of

Agreement Between the City of Bangor and AFSCME, Council 93, Local 926, BIA Ramp
Supervisors, Attendants, and Shift Leads
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement
between the City of Bangor and AFSCME, Council 93, Local 926 representing Ramp
Supervisors, Ramp Attendants, and Shift Leads at Bangor International Airport for a
term of three years commendng July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2008.
