Commentary:
Members of the Bangor Police Department who were assigned M the Maine Drug
Enforcement Agency (MDEA) executed a search warrant in Bass Harbor that resulted in
the seizure of heroin and $3,555.00 In cash. As a result, Bryan D. Jenkins and Christopher
Richardson were charged and later convicted of Trafficking In Heroin.
Prosecutors In the case filed for forfeiture of the cash Mat was seized from Defendant
Jenkins. The City of Bangor is entitled to a portion of the forfeited assets in this case.

legislative body, the Bangor City Council, and does hereby grant
approval pursuant to 15 N.R.S.A. § 5829(3) 6 55826(6) to the
transfer of the above captioned Defendant(s) in Nem, or any
portion thereof, on grounds that the Bangor police Department
did make a substantial contribution to the =vestigatdon of this
