Last year Me same donor paid for the fabrication of 28 boxes, and Bangor Center Carporation had a professional horticulturist select plant material that thrived in this application. Bangor Center is working with the same horticulhaut this year and anticipates that private donations will pay for all or a large portion of the annual planting costs for the original 28 boxes and the additional 12. Bangor Public Works will install the boxes. ORDER, A tmOrizing Acceptance an Anonymous Gift of $1,172 from Bangor Resident WHEREAS, a resident of Bangor wishes to encourage the placement of additional Flower boxes in Downtown Bangor along the Kenduskeag Stream; and WHEREAS, the cost of fabrication of 12 additional planters has been determined to be $1,172; and WHEREAS, the resident of Bangor who initiated the project has donated $1,172 to fund the fabrication; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTIY OF BANGOR THAT the City Manager be authorized to receive and disburse such funds in accordance with the donor's intentions.
