Commentary:
Daniel Tremble was elected to a three (3) yearterm on the Superintending School Committee in November
2006. Mr. Tremble has since resigned. The City Council has the option of ordeing a speclal election to fill
the unexpired term of Mr. Tremble or waiting until die nett regular municipal election.
This Order will direct the Clerk to prepare the necessary paperwork for a special election on lune 12, 2007.

THAT the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare the necessary warrants and
ballots for a Special Municipal Election to be held on June 12, 2007 for the purpose of
electing a member to the Superintending School Committee W 011 the unexpired term of
Daniel J. Tremble. Said warrant shall be issued by Council Chair Greene, acting on
behalf of the City Council.
