Edwards and Kelcey is the approved Airport Engineer for Airport Improvement Projects(AIP). Thlsprojectis
for the reconstrudion design of approximately 20,000 square yards of deteriorated concrete pavement,
replacement of approAmately 1,000 fe rtof trench drain, and improvements to the existing drainage system
to Bing the system uptowdaysstandards, and theconstruction of a major oil -water separator at Me ourfall
of the ramp drainage system. nIslaterpmjedisanelememofwroveralleffonWimprove Mequalityof
storm water leaving the Airport. Total engineering costs are e0mated to be $297,985. Federal funds will
aver 95% of the cost. TheState a Maine and the Airport will each fund 21h%, and the Airport's share is
avallade in this years of ealing budget.

the Airports mulff-year Airport Improvement Mans. This Information will be separately Provided to the
Council. In addition, "will review these plans with the Transportation and Irtras[mcture Committee In

CITY OF BANGOR
TITLE. ORDER, Authorizing the City Manager and or Airport Director to Eller Into a
Professional Service Agreement with Edwards and Kelcey for Engineering
Services far Phase 1 of the Reconstruction of the Cargo Apron Adjacent to
the International Deicing Pad, Taxiway A. Tango Row, and Dock 10.
WHEREAS, Edwards and Kelcey is the approved Airport Engineer for Airport
Improvement Pmjecis (AIP); and
WHEREAS, the Airport desires to reconstruct the Cargo Apron adjacent to the
International De -king Pad, Taxiway A, Tango Row, and Dock 10; and
WHEREAS, the scope of design work will include the reconstruction of approximately
20,000 square yards of deteriorated concrete pavement, replacement of
approximately 1,000 feet of trench drain, Improvements to the existing
drainage system, and the construction of a major oil -water separator at the
outfall of the ramp drainage system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED THAT the City Manager and/or Airport Director Is
hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Professional Service
Agreement with Edwards and Kelcey In the amount of $297,985 and in a form approved
by the (Sty Solicitor or Assistant Ory Sollftr for design of the phase 1 reconstruction of
the Cargo Apron adjacent to the International De Icmg Pad, Taxiway A, Tango Row,
and Dock 10.
