Lawler for Building #26, 113 Maine Avenue Responsible Department Community & Economic Development David B. Lawler has requestetl a three month extenslon to the purchase option and development agreement for 113 Maine Ave. On September 8, 2008, Council Order 08-299, the City Council approved a purchase option and development agreement with Mr. larder for the building and approximately 0.83 acres of land at 113 Maine Ave. The agreement requires Mr. Lawlerto recelveshe plan approval and approval of the Business & Economic Development Committee before exercising the option. The deadlineto exercise the option is October 31, 2008. The extension will provide Mr. Lawler additional time to obtain these approval& Department Head Managees Comments: This has been reviewed and is recommended by the Business and Economic Development Committee. Lawler for Building #26, 113 Maine Avenue WHEREAS, the City Council authorized a Pu chase Option and Development Agreement with David B. Lawler for Building #26 at 113 Maine Avenue by passage of Council Order 06-299; and WHEREAS, David B. Lawler has requested a three (3) month Wension to the Purchase Option and Development Agreement in order fO develop buliding plans, obtain site plan approval, and present the plans to the Business and Economic Development Committee; NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Bangor and in a final form approved by the City Solicitor or Assistant City solicitor, a three (3) month actension of the Purchase Option and Development Agreement with David B. Lawler for the purchase and development of Building #26, 113 Maine Avenue.
