The France Commitme/City Council previously approved the scope of work be undertaken for a
variety of energy conservation measures within municipal facil'Nes. One ofthese measures Invohres
the ronversion to/addition of natural gas to certain facilities for heating Purposes.
Bangor Gas has agreed to eetend their lines to services each of the following: City Hall, Central Fire,
Public Worts, Recycling and Bus Wash. The comacts are for a three year period and set forth
estimated annual minimum usages.
These cormact(s) must be approved by the City Council as the total volume of natural gas to be
purchased will exceed $100,000.

ORDERED,
THAT, Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized to execute conbact(s)
with Bangor Gas to provide natural gas service to City Hall, Central Fire, Public
Works, and the Recycling and Bus Wash building as well as to such other city
buildings and facilities where such service becomes available and is deemed by
the Finance Director to be financially advantageous to the City.
