Item/Subject. Order, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quftdaim Dead to Galen Cole Family
Foundation — Discontinued Portion of Webster Avenue
Resporaible Department: Engineering
Commentary:
Galen Cole expressed Interest some time ago In expanding the commercial building located at
359 Perry Road; however, the setback requirement from Webster Avenue limited Its ability to do
so. To address this, the Council authorized discontinuance of a portion of Webster Avenue in
2006, but a quitclaim deed was never exerted. This Order would authorize she execution of a
quiWaim deed while retaining easements for future public trall and public Wi ty uses.
The Finance Committee recommends approval.
