Major points of significance include: a three-year term; wage adjusonents of 3% year one, 3.25% year two, and 3.25% year three; new healtn Insurance carrier, rates, and cast sharing base plan; increases in education incentives, acting Lt. pay, and private duty extras; an Incentive; payment for successful completion of physical fitness assessment, new disciplinary language; the addition of new pay steps in the second and thiN years of the contract; and other routine housekeeping changes. The Commanding Omcers recently voted to ratify the proposed Tentative Agreement. The Agreement has been readied within the bargaining guidelines previously established by the City Council, and it is now ready for your mnsideration. This has been reviewed in Executive Session with the Council. The Agreement is presented with the recommendation of the Management Negohatlng Committee (Harty Courtoa, Ron Gastia and Peter Arno).
