APPLICATION FOR PLACING BURIED AND
AERIAL FIBER FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING A REDUNDANT FIBER ROUTE TO
AT&T ON HILLSIDE AVENUE
TO: City of Bangor
Lincolnville Communications Inc, respectfully request permission fox a location
permit for plating Fiber Optic Cable along and across the following named
public streets and highways: Grandview Avenue, Broadway, Griffin Road.,
Maine Avenue, Odlin Road, Perry Road and Mecaw, Street.
LOCATION: Lincolmville Communications Inc. proposes to place abound
fiber from the existing BHE Pole at the intersection of the entrance to the Elks
dub for a distance of approximately 1300 feet and 5 feet from edge of traveled
way to an existing BHE service pole for FAA's MALSR budding across from
the Telford entrance. The aerial placement on Grandview Ave, Broadway,
Griffin Road, Maine Avenue, Odlin Road (with the exception of placing
buried facilities near the runway on Odlin Road) to Mecaw Road will be on
existing BHE and Verizon poles.
See attached maps for work sees location and plan of proposed utility location -
The said Fiber Optic Cable to be erected substantially in accordance with the
plan filed herewith moked LC 700-04 dated 10/18/07 The cable shall be
placed at a height of no less than 18 feet from the ground at highway crossings
and no less than 15 feet elsewhere. The Buried Fiber Optic will placed at a
depth of no less than 30 inches deep.All cables and wires are to be maintained
in accordance with the standards of the National Electric Safety Code.
