from October 2007 through May 2008 while thatfadliN is under mconsbucdon. Dufing Mattime,BSOwill
perform in Bangor, including four events at the Bangor Auditorium, three of which are new. Because the
Bangor Auditorium doe cwt have the sound and lightng amenitle appropriate to symphonic performances,

Auditorium are exciting and Matthey include a wide range of collaboration with other musical organlzadons
in the Bangor area. The Commission also noted Nat the performance In Bangor may help to increase the
BSds local audience base.
In arriving at its funding recommendation of $15,000 rather than the full amount requested, the Commission
was mindful that Its annual appropriation for FYE 6130108 Is $125,000 and that this Is the I'm funding cycle
