Commentary:
The Penobscot County Sheriffs Department and the Bangor Police Department have received rwtificabon that
$31,998 Is available through the Edward eyme Memorial Grant Program. This gram requires that these two
agencies share one gram. Penobscot County will receive $1,998 for administering the grant, and the
remaining $30,000 will be divided evenly between the agencles. The Bangor Police Department intends to
use Its $15,000 to purchase equipment and to provide training for fts Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)
Team and Its Accident Reconstruction Team. There Is no match required.
