Becausethe payment included several matured liens, Council approval Is necessary to issue a deed In order to release the City's interest in the property bad to the property owner. There are no outstanding sewer bills or code Issues with the property. The Finance Committee recommended approval a[ its July 16M meeting. Department Head Recommend approval. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real estate looted at 1059 Stillwater Avenue in said Bangor by virtue of several undischarged real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Stillwater Avenue Land Associates, and in a form approved by the Office of the City Solicitor.
