Item No. OD4U
Item/Subject: extending Parking Lease Agreement - County of Penobscot
Responsible Department: Community & economic Development
Commentary: The City entered a Lease Agreement on September 2, 1999 leasing
37 parking spaces in the expanded parking area behind the Police Station to
Penobscot County until December 31, 1999. The intent of this short term
lease is to provide time to negotiate the future lease of the involved
parking spaces to Penobscot County concurrently with negotiations for the
sale of the former Grant building. The Order would extend the term of the
parking lease to March 31, 2000.
