Sewer liens were recorded in 1997 and 1998 on property located at
237 Center Street and owned by Molly A. Commack. The Wastewater
Treatment Plant has received payment from the mortgage holder in
the amount of $1,390+ for outstanding sewer user fees. Because the
sewer liens have matured, Council approval is necessary to release
the City's interest in the property. The mortgageholder has
requested that the deed run to it as trustee.
The real estate taxes are current, and there are no code issues
with the property.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on.
December 6th.

THAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, 1s hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the
real estate located at 237 Center Street in said Bangor by
virtue of matured sewer charge liens recorded in Book 6425, Page
180; Book 6592, Page 266; and Book 6592, Page 267, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to First National
Bank of Chicago, AS Trustee, successor in interest to Molly A.
Cammack, a copy of which is attached hereto.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF CHICAGO, AS TRUSTEE,
Successor in interest to Molly A. Cammack, having an address of
9275 Sky Park Court, San Diego, California, as Grantee, the
property located in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more
particularly bounded and described as follows:
Real estate located at 237 Center Street in said
Bangor, and further described in deeds recorded
in Book 3932, Page 298 and Book 4448, Page 318,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. This property is
further designated as Assessor's Map 39, Lot 52,
real estate account number 00828.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above-described property by
virtue of undischarged sewer charge liens assessed against Molly A.
Cammack recorded in Book 6425, Page 180; Book 6592, Page 266; and
Book 6592, Page 267, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
All public easements or other public interests in the
described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has Caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of December, 1999.
