Responsible DepartmenC legal The Greater Bangor Chamber of Commerce, Inc. CChambero) is currently located in Bangor at the Bass Park complex. With the pending construction of the new arena, the Chamber will need to relocate from its existing facility. For the past seveal months staff has been working with the Chamber to Identify a long-term location. However, the Chamber needs time W obtain and renovate new space for its operation. Currently, the City owns a building located on Maine Avenue that will meet the needs of the Chamber as a temporary location while it obtains and renovates new space. If approved, this Order will authorize the execution of a lease with the Chamber for property located at 208 Maine Avenue. The lease shall include a term for one year with an option for renewal, lease rate of $1.00 per year, and utilities to be paid for by the Chamber. Department Head Manager's Comments: CA m.
