Morgan, Interim City Engineer SUBJECT: Time Warner Cable Downtown Installation DATE: June 7, 2011 Time Warner Cable has submitted a price quote for the installation of 4" conduit, for future expansion in the downtown area. The proposed cost estimate is $79,925.39, of which, more than 50% is anticipated for the required boring necessary under Exchange Street, Harlow Street, and Park Street for placement of the new conduit. Baring under these streets will reduce the impact on traffic and the expected distance is 299 linear feet. Additional work that can be open cut will require a 6" wider trench be dug. Proposed funding sources could include Downtown TIF or CDBG funds proposed for other Projects this year. Respectfully Submitted, Arthur B. Morgan
