Hermon Fire Department Responsible Department: Fire Department Recently, the Rre Department received a new ambulance/rescue unit m replace one of the older units, which has now been taken out of servke. The Town of Hermon Fire Department has requested that the City of Banger donate the vehicle to them for first response and utility purposes. The vehicle is a 2003 Ford with 119,000 miles, and currently needs as estimated $3,000$4,000 worth of repairs in order to pass Inspection. Staff estimates that given its age, condition and mileage, the salvage value would be fairly small. As such, staff supports the request for donation to the Hermon Fire Department. This was reviewed and recommended for approval by the Government Operations Committee on September 13, 2011.
