Commentary:
In 1999 a sewer lien was fled on the property of Joseph Cooper at 20 Earle Avenue. City
records show no outstanding sewer fees, real estate taxes or code issues, but apparently
the lien was never discharged, therefore a municipal quitclaim deed is needed to clear the
title to the property. In August, Joshua R. Cooper acquired the property located at 20
Earle Avenue. In order to facilitate the closing, the quitclaim deed has been executed and
delivered, releasing the City's interest acquired by virtue of the lien. This Resolve will
ratify the staff action. Staff recommends approval.

BE IT RESOLVED,
The actions of Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, of executing and delivering a Municipal Quitclaim
Deed from the Cly of Bangor to Joshua R. Lovejoy for property at 20 Earle Avenue in Bangor,
Maine are hereby ratified and affirmed.
