If approved, this Order will authorize the assignment of a contract with RMT Engineering of
Madison Wisconsin to TRC Companies Inc of Lowell Massatliusetts, for coal tar remediation in
the Penobscot River. Since 1999, the City has a contracts with RMT Engineering Services to
assist with environmental studies and remedlatlon of the coal Or in the Penobscot River. In
lune, RMT announced that the EnvIronmental Business Unit of RMT had been purchases by TRC
Environmental Corporation ('TRC') of Lowell Massachusetts. Under the assignment, all terms of
the contract will remain the same and personnel assigned to the Gry of Ranger project will not
change.

WHEREAS, RMrs Environmental Business Unit has been sold to TRC Environmental
Corporation (TRC); and
WHEREAS, the same people Mat have been working for RMT on behalf of the City will now
work for TRC;

City of Bangor, M execute Me necessary comment M consent to the assignment of the
