Responsible Department: Health & Community Services Commentary: This is a new grant offered to the Penquis Public Health District by the Department of Health and Human Service, Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to implement environmental public health strategies in the Penquis Public Health District. Funding will be used to hire a staff person to work within the district to implement strategies to increase physical activity, and control blood pressure and cholesterol.
