Item/Subject: ORDER, Authorizing Disposition of Surplus City Property (Map 69, Lot
35) to Habitat for Humanity
Responsible Department: Community and Economic Development
Commentary: The City of Bangor owns a parcel of land (Map 69, Lot 35) on Union Street and
Randolph Drive and wishes to dispose of this surplus property. Habitat for Humanity has been looking
for an appropriate site for another house project in the City of Bangor. This order authorizes the
disposition of this property through a donation of the 0.39 acre parcel of land at 13 Randolph Drive to
Habitat for Humanity for construction of a single family home. This item was reviewed and approved
at the April 8, 2014 Business and Economic Development Committee meeting.
