Commentary:
This Order will accept approximately 490 feet of Venture Way (map attached) as a public street
and will add it to the Official City Map.
The City is owner of property known as the Maine Business Enterprise Park and additional
property abutting the Maine Business Enterprise Park. Means of access to the Maine Business
Enterprise Park and the abutting property includes Venture Way. Not all of Venture Way is a
public street. The City has an agreement with Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems to sell a parcel
of land abutting a portion of Venture Way that has not been accepted as a public street. Eastern
Maine Healthcare Systems is requesting that the portion of Venture Way that abuts the property
to be conveyed be accepted as a public street and it is in the City's best interest to do so.

(TITLE.) ORDER, Accepting a Portion of Venture Way as a Public Street and Adding it to the
Official City Map
WHEREAS, the City is owner of property known as the Maine Business Enterprise Park and
property abutting the Maine Business Enterprise Park; and
WHEREAS, access to the Maine Business Enterprise Park and abutting property Is via Venture
Way; and
WHEREAS, only a portion of Venture Way is a public street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bangor has an agreement to sell a parcel of land abutting a portion of
Venture Way that has not been accepted as a public street; and
WHEREAS, it is In the interest of the City of Bangor to accept a portion of Venture Way as a
public street.
By the City Counts/ of the Oty of Bangor:
ORDERED,
That pursuant to 23 M.R.S.A. §3022 and 23 M.R.S.A. §3025 a portion of Venture Way as
described on Exhibit A attached hereto and as depicted on Exhibit B attached hereto is hereby
accepted as a public way and street by the City of Bangor and is hereby added to the Official
City Map.

EXHIBIT A
A certain parcel of land situated on the westerly end of Venture Way In the City of Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the end line of Venture Way and being N 1210 47' 18" W, a
distance of 12.15' feet from the northeasterly comer of land of the Sunbury Medical Properties,
LLC, as shown on an "Maine Business Enterprise Park Amended Subdivision Plan", for the City
of Bangor, as provided by Oest Associates, Inc., dated December 29, 1994, and recorded at the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds as plan file D171-94;
Thence N12° 47' 18" W by and along the westerly endline of Venture Way a distance of 37.93'
feet to a turning point on said line; thence S 80° 32' 19" W along the northerly sideline of
Venture Way, a distance of 84.53' feet to a turning point; thence N 640 47'33" E, a distance of
404.78' feet to a turning point; thence S 680 44' 23" E, a distance of 85.49' feet to a point on
the westerly sideline of so called Cleveland Avenue; thence S 3310 45' 11" W a distance of 61.46'
feet along said sideline to a point; thence N 6810 44' 23" W a distance of 47.16' feet to a turning
point; thence S 6911 38' 21" W a distance of 113.33' feet to a turning point; thence S 140 28'
43" E a distance of 10.27' feet to a turning point; thence S 640 47'33" W a distance of 190.50'
feet to the point of beginning.
The above described lot or parcel of land containing 0.53 acres, more or less.
