In addition, Mr. D'Errico oversaw countless, significant infrastructure improvements at BGR, which included the construction of the domestic and international terminals. Additionally, Mr. D'Errico helped create a cargo facility that shipped everything from lobsters to horses. Under his stewardship he brought in 51 companies to the airport and a combined 2,000 public and private sector jobs. Mr. D'Errico went on to serve two more terms on the Bangor City Council from 2003 through 2009. Prior to serving the City of Bangor, Peter served in the Maine Air National Guard holding the rank of Major. Peter R. D'Errico is held in the highest regard as a result of his service and accomplishments in the military, field of aviation and his dedication to the citizens of Bangor as well as past and present employees of the Bangor International Airport.
