Desert Associates. City records show no outstanding real estate taxes or sewer fees due on the property, but apparently the lien was never discharged. Because the lien matured, we need to do a quitclaim deed releasing the City's interest acquired by virtue of the lien. The Finance Committee recommends approval. Garr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have by virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 5876, Page 21.
