Item No. U9 284
Date: September 14, 2009
Item/Subject: ORDER, Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed For Real Estate
Located at 314 Fourteenth Street
Responsible Department: Legal
Commentary:
A real estate tax lien had matured in 1970 on the property of George and Charlotte Kelley. City
records show no outstanding taxes due on the property, but apparently the lien was never
discharged. Because the lien matured, we need to do a quitclaim deed releasing the City's
interest acquired by virtue of the lien.
The Finance Committee recommends approval.
