Item/Subject: ORDER, Authorizing Bangor International Airport to Enter into a Lease
Agreement with the Maine Air National Guard for .67 Acres of Land.
Responsible Department: Airport
Commentary:
The ANG would like to lease an additional 0.67 acres of land from the Bangor International Airport so
that they can expand their existing fire station. The Guard is requesting a no -cost lease for 50 years
similar to their other lease agreements with the Airport. The 50 year lease is a requirement for the ANG
to be able to invest federal funds in the construction of the facility.
