Item No. 5„
Date: July 31, 2004 -
Item/Subject: Order, Authorizing a One Year Extension to the Joint Use Agreement between the
Bangor International Airport and Maine Air National Guard.
Responsible Department: Airport
Commentary:
The existing Joint Use Agreement beteen the City and the Air National Guard is for fifteen years
and will terminate on September Sar 2004 unless extended. The Air Guard is requesting a one
year extension due to deployments and changes In command that have delayed their ability to
work with us toward a new agreement. The Airport recommends authorizing a one year
extension to the existing agreement to allow time for both parties to adaquately review the
agreement and concur on pending terms and conditions. .
