Portion Thereof, as a result of a Federal Criminal Forfeiture.

Commentary:
Members of the Bangor Police Department were instrumental in an arrest leading to the seizure of
cash that was subsequently forfeited by the individual who was arrested. As a result, the City is
entitled to a portion of the seized funds.
This Order will authorize the acceptance of the funds and the execution of the approval of the fund
transfer.

ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is authorized to accept $18,900 in U.S. currency, or a
portion thereof, as a result of a Federal criminal forfeiture and deposit it
in the Federal Forfeiture Account (60020309030).
ORDERED, THAT the City Manager and Police Chief are authorized to execute an Equitable
Sharing Agreement and Certification as required by the United States Department
of Justice.
