Charles Boothby, Chair
Bangor Historic Preservation Commission
Dear Sirs,
I am writing to tender my resignation from the Bangor Historic Preservation
Commission, effective immediately following the November meeting. I have
recently begun working on my graduate degree in business administration and I
find that I need to devote more time to my studies.
I have enjoyed serving on this excellent committee. Through my time here I have
garnered a greater appreciation for the efforts that the city and the citizens of
Bangor undertake in order to ensure that our historical buildings are preserved.
I feel at this time in my life I am not able to devote the energy or passion required
for this committee. I feel that the city of Bangor will be better served by filling
my spot with someone who is able to devote more of their time to the endeavors
of the HPC.
Sincerely,
Karen Hornberger
