Item/Subject: Order, Authorizing the Interim City Manager to Accept $16,507.00 in U.S.
Currency, or a Portion Thereof, as a result of a State Criminal Forfeiture.

Commentary: Members of the Bangor Police Department were instrumental in an arrest leading
to the seizure of cash that was subsequently forfeited by the individual who was arrested. As a
result, the City is entitled to a portion of the seized funds.
This Order will authorize the acceptance of the funds and the execution of the approval of the fund
transfer.

ORDERED, THAT the Interim City Manager is authorized to accept $16,507.00 in U.S.
currency, or a portion thereof, as a result of a State criminal forfeiture and deposit it in the
State Forfeiture Account (60020309050).
ORDERED, THAT the City Clerk is authorized to execute the attached Approval of Transfer.
