Responsible Department: Health & Community Services Commentary: This is a renewal of the Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic/HIV Prevention Grant for the project period 01/01/10 — 12/30/10. Funds are used to provide confidential STD testing and treatment as well as disease investigation services to individuals in Northern Maine. The overall program goal is to improve public health in our region and to decrease the rates of sexually transmitted infections among our population. Additionally, the program provides educational opportunities for the Center for Family Medicine medical residency program as well as Husson, EMMC, and UM schools of nursing.
