These parking spaces were constructed by the City pursuant to a 2004 agreement with Webber Oil under which Webber Oil paid the construction cost of the parking spaces in return for 54 months of parking. The 54 month period has now ended. The proposed ordinance would convert the 40 spaces to an on -street parking lot listed in the City's parking schedule. A separate Council Order will establish the fee charged for these spaces at $30.00. Webber Oil intends to continue leasing the parking spaces from the City.
