HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-05-23 16-223 ORDERCOUNCIL ACTION Item No. 16-223 Date: May 23, 2016 Item/Subject ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Contract with Bangor Center Management Corporation/Downtown Bangor Partnership Responsible Department: Community & Economic Development Commentary: This Order authorizes the City Manager to execute a Contract with the Bangor Center Management Corporation/Downtown Bangor Partnership for the purpose of providing management services and administration of the Development Program for the Bangor Center Development District for the period July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017. The proposed budget is $77,690. The Corporation did not request general fund support for the upcoming fiscal year. The proposed Contract would provide reimbursement to the City of up to $30,000 in personnel costs in administering the program and reimbursement to the City of up to $10,000 for additional law enforcement services in the District. This item was reviewed and recommended for approval by the Business & Economic Development Committee at its May 17, 2016 meeting. ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Contract with Bangor Center Management Corporation/Downtown Bangor Partnership BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a contract, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, with the Bangor Center Management Corporation/Downtown Bangor Partnership for purposes of providing management services and administration of the development program for the Bangor Center Development District for the period July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017.
